Carol Popham

I started taking art classes in high school and enjoyed it so much I added art classes in college to break up the psychology and behavioral sciences class load. I ended up adding Art as a third BA major.  

I experienced photography, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry making, drawing/painting techniques, and history as a major. Photography and  Oil painting quickly became my favorites.  

With work and raising a family, photography took center stage.  Easier to carry a camera around than paint, canvas, and easel.

Years later, after the kids had grown and I moved to Woodland, Alabama  I was able to reenter the painting world.  

I have been experimenting with wood painting, canvas painting, and acrylic pours.  Loving every success and learning from every failure; however, my camera is always within reach.
